I'm Lara, owner of Vibrant Wood.

My love of antiques and vintage furniture began in my teenage years when my Grandma worked in an antique shop and my Mum loved cabinets - which I'd encourage her to buy!

Combined with my passion for reducing waste and repurposing 'old things' I began restyling vintage furniture using high quality paints and beautifully designed prints.

Each piece I work on has a story and uniqueness.  Wherever possible I try to retain the 'personality' and charm of the original piece.

Besides this passion, I love people!  This business gives me so many opportunities to meet people that I would never otherwise encounter. Engaging with sellers and customers and finding out more about 'their story' makes this business just as much about people, as furniture.

I am told I have an eye for quality, give attention to detail and being such a perfectionist I take great care in every aspect of my work.
